EXPERIMENTAL DOCUMENTARY & VIDEO INSTALLATION
«HOW DO YOU FEEL? A Menstruanimation.» is a short experimental documentary. Through the stories of various people, the film guides the viewer through an entire menstrual cycle, revealing the diversity of experiences, feelings, and emotions that stand in contrast to the linear structures of socially established everyday life and its expectations.
The voices offer small insights into 14 beautiful, recorded conversations. The music is an interpretation of the musician’s own menstrual cycle. Photos and objects provided by the protagonists served as the basis for the abstract animation.
